View Alert DetailAvailable in HQ Open Source unless marked by * for HQ Enterprise only This screen allows users to view the details of a specific alert that has been triggered and to acknowledge it or mark it fixed. In the case of a group alert whose triggering condition has gone away, the alert detail displays "The problem fixed itself." Sections on This ScreenAlert PropertiesThis section displays high-level information about the alert, including whether or not it is enabled (Active) and its priority. Condition SetThis section lists the condition that was met and therefore triggered the alert. If Condition is the condition and Actual Value displays the value that HQ measured for the metric on which the condition was based. For more information about alert conditions, see the instructions for editing alert conditions and a description of recovery alerts. Control ActionThis section lists the control action that HQ performed (if any) when the alert was triggered. Notification ActionThis section lists all the notifications that HQ performed when the alert was triggered. For more information about alert notification, see the instruction for selecting notification methods for an alert definition. EscalationThis section lists the escalation scheme (if any) assigned to the alert and the current state of escalation. Users can also "acknowledge" an alert here. Learn more about the components of an escalation scheme. FixThis section displays the last user-specified resolution for the alert (if any) and the username that submitted the resolution.
