SwitchYard Tooling - Continuous Integration Eclipse Update Site

This is the Continuous Integration Update Site for SwitchYard tooling. The features/plugins provided by this site require additional features/plugins which are not provided by this site. For the best user experience, please install SwitchYard tooling from the JBoss Tools Integration Stack. This site should be used for accessing newer releases of SwitchYard tooling than those packaged with JBTIS.

  1. To install from this site, start up Eclipse 4.6 (Neon).
  2. If not already installed, install JBoss Tools:
    Help → Eclipse Marketplace...
    - in the Search tab enter 'jboss tools' in the Find input widget
    - select the Go button
    - install JBoss Tools 4.6.x
  3. Add the following update sites to the list of configured update sites
    Window → Preferences
    Install/Update → Available Software Sites
  4. Install the SwitchYard tooling:
      Help → Install New Software...
  5. Copy this site's URL into Eclipse, and hit Enter.
  6. When the site loads, select the features to install, or click the Select All button.
  7. To properly resolve all dependencies, check
      [x] Contact all update sites during install to find required software
  8. Click Next, agree to the license terms, and install.

Installation Types

Depending on how close to the bleeding edge you like to be, there are several types of releases available.

Stable Releases

Stable releases are - as indicated by their name - stable.

Development Milestones

Development builds, released once per milestone and only a few times a year, are fairly stable, but there may be some things which do not yet work. If you would like to try one of these milestones, we'd greatly appreciate the assistance in testing and reporting of issues in our issue tracker.

Continuous Integration Builds

The bleeding edge contains the latest and greatest new features, but nothing is stable or guaranteed - yet. If you're using a Milestone and need a fix, you can update to the latest Nightly, or wait for the next Milestone.
