If you want to experiment with changes to a running route context, you can make the edits directly from the Fuse Integration perspective. Fuse IDE opens the routing context in the route editor. Changes take effect immediately upon saving the routing context file.
To edit a running route:
In the JMX Explorer tree, select the context containing the route(s) you want to edit.
Right-click it to open the context menu, and then select to open the context, and all of the routes it contains, in the route editor.
Edit the route(s) as described in Part I, “Application Development”.
When done, save the edited route. Changes to the route take effect immediately.
