Upgrade Fuse IDE

Overview

Once Fuse IDE is installed you can check for updates and install them using the standard Eclipse update mechanism.

Procedure

To check for updates to Fuse IDE:

  1. Select Help > Check for Updates.

    When updates are available, a dialog similar to Figure 1 opens.

  2. Make sure that Fuse IDE is checked.

  3. Click Next> to open the Update Details page.

    Make sure that Fuse IDE is listed.

  4. Click Next> to open the Review Licenses page.

  5. Read the license agreement.

  6. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement.

  7. Click Finish to finish installing the software.

  8. If warned about installing unsigned packages, accept the FuseSource certificates and continue the installation.

  9. When prompted, click Restart Now.

    When Eclipse restarts, the new version of Fuse IDE will be available.

Occasionally, the update operation fails. To recover, uninstall Fuse IDE, as described in Removing Fuse IDE, and then reinstall it .
