Creates a new EndpointPermission object with the specified name. The name is the symbolic name of the EndpointPermission.

Parameters:

name - the name of the EndpointPermission

Throws:

NullPointerException - if name is null

IllegalArgumentException - if name is empty

RemotingPermission

public RemotingPermission(String name,
                          String actions)
                   throws NullPointerException,
                          IllegalArgumentException

Creates a new EndpointPermission object with the specified name. The name is the symbolic name of the EndpointPermission, and the actions string is currently unused.

Parameters:

name - the name of the EndpointPermission

actions - ignored

Throws:

NullPointerException - if name is null

IllegalArgumentException - if name is empty
