This is the list where participating developers of the Alexandria tool meet and discuss issues, code changes/additions, etc. Subscribers to this list get notices of each and every code change, build results, testing notices, etc. This mailing list also covers the antgump and jxr2 proposals.

Important
Since there are multiple projects in commons, after successfully subscribing, please add [component_name] at the beginning of the subject of your mail. This will allow all concerned to use their mail agent's filter system to focus on the particular components they are interested in. The various Commons components use the same mail list to improve cross-pollination of ideas.
The Jakarta Commons User List
This list is for developers that are using commons projects in their own projects to ask questions, share knowledge, and discuss issues related to using those commons projects.
The Jakarta Commons Developer List
This list is for developers building and releasing shareable components under the Jakarta Commons Subproject to ask and answer questions, as well as discuss the operation of the Commons subproject as a whole. If traffic volume dictates, specialized lists for particular components may be created later. Messages previous to September 2001 can be found here.
The Jakarta Commons HttpClient Developer List
This list is for HttpClient developers to discuss the Commons HttpClient component. The list was created on Oct 3, 2002 to offload the commons developer list. All discussions, and bug reports will be sent to this list. CVS commit messages regarding HttpClient will still be sent to jakarta-commons-cvs.AT.apache.DOT.org.

The Jakarta Website Change Commit List
Changes to the Jakarta website are echoed to this list. Useful if you want to find out when this site's been updated. Note, if you have comments or suggestions about the site please send them to the general@jakarta.apache.org mailing list. Instructions for subscribing are also on this page. The site is also checked into CVS under the jakarta-site2 module. We have fairly good instructions for modifying the site. Patches send to the general@list are welcomed.
HiveMind User List
This list is for HiveMind users to discuss the HiveMind framework.

Apache JServ is in a maintenance only mode at this point. This means that there will be no new official releases and that only well tested patches are being committed. No new features are being added. If you are looking for the latest implementation of a Java Servlet Engine and/or Java Server Pages (JSP) then you should consider using the Apache Tomcat product.

The Jakarta General Project List
This is the project general mailing list. This is where ideas, suggestions, and comments are exchanged that deal with the *overall* Jakarta project. READ: This is *not* a place to ask technical questions related to Tomcat, Struts or any other single Jakarta project. Matters that affect the project as a whole are decided here.
